It is impossible for workers in Iran, NYC and London to practice social distancing as seen in the below video. The idea of social distancing is confined to privilege people. And they are the one who are advocating it during the corona pandemic, as they have no idea of how works are done, to run the world.
The idea of space, my space, two metre distance, my room, my house, my office, my health, my safety is all about individual freedom and rights, which comes at the cost of sucking away the spaces of large population who are working, continuously.
People who have lutyens bunglaw in Delhi, and other likes of chief minister, Industrialist, Big societies, of how many square foots, cannot stay there in three to four rooms and they expect people who don’t have even proper hut, to assemble in line to get relief materials, family of more than six people who have less than 250 sq. ft of house to stay there and meditate and do Yoga.
What was the logic of lockdown in small villages and towns ? They could have been isolated, sealed without in contact with the people from cities. Cities need villages and small town for their food and work to be done. It is not other way round.
