On 21 Oct 2024, during the visit of Charles III and his wife Camila to the Australia parliament house in Canberra, after his speech, an indigenous senator Lidia Thorpe rightly shouts at him, ‘king’ Charles III, “you are not our king you are not our sovereign, you committed genocide against our people. Give us our land back, give us what you stole from us. Our bones, our skulls, our babies, our people. You destroyed our land. This is not your land. This is not your land. You are not my king.”
In another pathetic show of his kingness, the so called king was given a water to drink by indigenous tribe and then his tasted water was mixed with all the water and food for the people to eat. And just like the genocide which is nowadays telecasted live, these are telecasted by people. And they feel great about them. Imagine.
